Telford Ice Rink

Halligan Consulting Engineers provided full design services for the mechanical installations associated with the ice production plant and space conditioning of the auditorium.

The refurbishment comprised of  a new ductwork, air handling plant, chiller plant and associated pipe work and controls, to serve both the ventilation and the ice pad. The system also included desiccant dehumidification within the auditorium.

There were specific constraints on site such as restricted plant space which with careful planning, design and co-ordination ensured an efficient and tidy installation to minimise disruption and impact on the areas being served.
